  I went with my family for the first time and ordered the veal parmigiana. I don't understand all the excitement surrounding this place. All 4 of our dishes were drowning in sauce. The average cost of a dish was about $22.00, very spendy for very average food. It definately wasn't bad, but I don't know if I'd go back. If you do go, don't get the house salad. It has canned green beans and canned garbanzo beans. The soup on the other hand was delicious. As much as there is to like, there is to complain about. The staff was kind, fun, and helpful.
  
  I would've rated 3 stars, or "it's okay" but just because the quality of food was quite low for how much it is per plate, I'm eating it 2 stars.

  The food has always been great here! It's an old boy stop for an old boy crowd. Most all of the guests in this establishment know the others. This is not to say if you're from out of town you shouldn't stop by and enjoy this historic sister restaurant of the famous Felicia's of the North End in Boston. Service at times can be slow and the menu has not changed in years but so goes the saying if it's not broke don't fix it.
